There is more to vision than 20/20. Some vision problems cannot be solved with glasses alone but are best treated with Vision Therapy. Optometric Vision Therapy is the science and practice of developing visual abilities to achieve optimal performance and comfort involving fixation, eye movement control, focusing, and eye teaming, as well as visual perception and visual information processing.

Dr. Kennedy and her staff are prepared with the expertise and experience needed to design and implement an individualized program for you or your child in one or more of the following areas:

  • Learning-related vision problems
  • Amblyopia (lazy eye)
  • Strabismus (wandering eye)
  • Visual instability/double vision
  • Attention deficits, spectrum disorders
  • Computer vision discomfort and stress related vision problems
  • Visual information processing
  • Visually induced headaches, eye strain, motion sickness
  • Vision rehabilitation following brain injury

If you have been previously diagnosed with visual problems like those above, or know someone who has, contact Dr. Kennedy today. During your first appointment, we will complete a comprehensive Visual Evaluation to determine a diagnosis and make a customized recommendation for treatment based on your individual visual abilities and needs.

Our goal is better quality of life through better vision.

Reviews From Our Satisfied Patients

  • "We use Anderson Optometry for all of our family’s vision needs. Recently, we had to have our youngest fitted for new glasses and he made the experience fun for her and informative for us. We know Dr. Anderson will always take good care of our family’s eye care and that’s why we wouldn’t go to anywhere else."

  • "Dr. Anderson and his staff are so patient and friendly. Dr. Anderson prescribed me glasses and I had the toughest time picking out frames. They didn’t rush, but instead made helpful suggestions and now I have an awesome pair of frames, not to mention the fact that I can see ten times better than before. You guys are the best!"
